IEP Review and Service Plan
I will thoroughly review your child's IEP (Individual Education Plan) and develop a personalized, specially designed services plan to ensure their needs are fully met. This plan can be used to advocate effectively during the ARD (Admission, Review, Dismissal) meeting, helping secure the appropriate accommodations, modifications, and support your child deserves.
Virtual ARD Meeting Representation
When schools are reluctant to provide necessary services or accommodations, I will attend the ARD meeting virtually to advocate on your behalf and ensure your child’s educational rights are upheld. This service also includes virtual representation at a Manifestation Determination Review (MDR) meeting if your child has been removed from their placement for more than 10 days, helping to protect their right to a free and appropriate public education (FAPE).
Dispute Resolution Support
If you need to challenge an ARD Committee decision, I provide expert support and guidance throughout the mediation, special education complaint, and due process hearing processes. I will help you prepare documents, understand your rights, and effectively present your concerns to ensure your child receives the services and accommodations they are entitled to under the law. Whether you need assistance navigating TEA’s complaint process, mediation negotiations, or formal due process hearings, I will be by your side to help advocate for the best possible outcome for your child’s education.
